Recomendations
I have been translating (French to English) for over 20 years. After earning a CEGEP diploma in pure and applied science, I completed a B.A. in languages and a graduate diploma in educational technology. I particularly enjoy working in the field of science, engineering and technology. Specific and tangible, it offers a challenge I enjoy, like putting together a puzzle.
For many years I have had the pleasure of translating articles in the tourism industry for magazines and websites published by agencies such as CAA-Quebec, Tourisme Montréal, Bonjour Québec and SDC du Vieux-Montréal. As an anglophone born and raised in Quebec, I know my province well, including the intricacies of its friendly brand of French.
When it comes to translating that and marketing material, I prefer the term “adaptation.” My gift for writing means that I will turn your beautifully written French into something equally fine. I charge significantly less than large translation companies, while providing personalized service at all times. Nothing makes me happier than a satisfied customer. This means going above and beyond expectations – sometimes even doing a little mind reading! I am pleased to say that I love working with the clients I have.
